Project Atomic 2024 is an engineering team comprised of highly dedicated and talented students from Auburn University's Electrical and Computer Engineering programs. Our goal is to combine our knowledge and skillsets in circuit analysis, frequency signal analysis, and software code to achieve a common objective. We collaborate and work closely together to ensure our ideas are executed efficiently and effectively.

Colin Taptich

I am a senior from New Jersey studying Electrical Engineering at Auburn University. Along with our course work, I have experience working as an assistant Project Engineer for Torcon Inc.. My experiences allowed for me to excel in communication, analytical/problem solving skills, and working in team environments. I am responsible for our team's hardware research/construction along with maintaining our website.

Daniel O'Hanian

My name is Daniel O'Hanian, I am a senior from Huntsville, Alabama majoring in Computer Engineering. I have experience working as a Software Developer at Hexagon. I am proficient in high level software programming as well as embedded system programming. I also have experience leading student organizations, as I was the President of my Fraternity at Auburn. My role in Project Atomic is to act as the Team Leader, as well as working on the embedded system code alongside James.

James Morris

I am a senior from Huntsville, Alabama majoring in Computer Engineering at Auburn University. I also have a minor in Business Engineering and Technology. I am proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, C/C++, and Linux. My minor has given me experience learning, practicing, and integrating engineering and management skills demanded by the technology-driven global economy, solving real-world design problems, and working in cross-functional teams. I am responsible for our team's software and final clock design.

I'm a senior from St. Louis, Missouri studying Electrical Engineering at Auburn University. Here at Auburn, I'm a part of the Clay Shooting team where I've lead as an officer for 2 years. I have experience working as a Automation and Controls Engineer at Nestle Purina where I learned the role of Electrical Engineering in production and manufacturing, improved my communication skills, and learned to be a more effective team player. My role for this project is the display and casing for our clock.

Christian Ford

I am a senior from Hoover, Alabama majoring in Electrical Engineering. I am pretty involved across campus as I serve as the Treasurer for Auburn IEEE, as the Vice President of Finance for NSBE, as a Cupola Engineering Ambassador, and as a Resident Assistant in the athletic dorm. My engineering experience has been cultivated by my involvement in my engineering organizations and through my engineering internships with Trane Tehcnologies and Southern Company. I work well in a team environment and enjoy working on various power systems models and electrical hardware. My role on our project team is electrical hardware construction/research as well as electrical component inquiry.

Nathan Ash

I am a senior from Birmingham, Alabama majoring in Electrical Engineering at Auburn University. I am proficient in Microsoft Office, C++. I have working experience with American Cast Iron CO. This internship taught me how to solve complex problems with various hardware. It also taught me how to successfully complete projects as a team. My role on this team is to research and construct the hardware.
